Also, I was motivated to change insurance companies ( dropping the emu) due to their predatory pricing for my elderly Dad. Despite years of coverage with them and never filing a claim, they were absolutely gouging him on the price. I understand this is sadly not unusual in the elderly community and would encourage anyone involved with insurance for the elderly to revisit those policies regularly. Renewals and autopay can be a dangerous combination and I ended up saving thousands !"
